Meet your Spotter.

Every training app gives you a chart. Charts are for the part of you that likes numbers. This is for the other part — a character who is in the gym because you were, and who looks like it.

Two to choose from at level one, both starting exactly where you are: untrained, ordinary, and pointed somewhere.

Meet Marv

Same guy. More of the work.

Four stills, from the starting point to tier 3. Each step has room to land—no video, model, or instant jump to the finish.

01The road

They start where you start. Then they change.

Your Spotter has five builds between the person you meet on day one and the one at the top. You do not pick them and you cannot buy them — they arrive because the training did.

For scale

Level 34 is about 216 sessions — a year of training four times a week.

That is deliberate. A number you can reach in a fortnight is a number that means nothing by the third month, and everybody works that out eventually.

What moves it

  • Every set you complete
  • Finishing a session
  • Doing it on the day it was scheduled
  • Your weekly check-in
  • Sending a form video
  • A personal record
  • Your coach deciding you earned it

02How it grows

Three rules it is not allowed to break.

01

It grows on work, not on looks.

Your Spotter changes with the volume you actually log — push, pull, legs, engine. Never your weight, never your measurements, never your photos. Effort is the input; a body is an outcome, and an avatar that shrank when you did would be a cruel object.

02

It never goes backwards.

Take three months off and you come back to the same character you left. Nothing here punishes a hard year. The only direction this thing moves is forward, at whatever pace you can give it.

03

It moves at the speed of a real body.

A visible change takes weeks, because that is how long weeks take. If five sessions rebuilt it, you would know immediately that it was lying to you — and then nothing it ever showed you would count.

It never shrinks.

Your Spotter is built from what you lifted, not from what you weigh. It cannot be told your body fat, it is never shown a progress photo, and a bad month does not take anything off it. That is a design rule, not a setting — the health data in Spot stays where health data belongs.

03What you earn

Kit you were given for a reason.

Six slots — backdrop, shirt, belt, wraps, shoes, headwear. Everything in them is either bought with the chalk you accumulate or unlocked by an achievement you completed.

Never both. The shop is not allowed to sell a thing that says you did the work, because the moment it can, none of it means anything.

No character creator, no sliders at signup. You are handed one of two people, and everything after that is earned.

The Spotter ships inside the client app, which is free for anyone whose coach uses Spot. Nothing in it is ever sold to a client.
